There are lots of ways to be part of PeerLink, whether you’re looking for one-on-one support, a place to connect with others, or something new to learn. However you show up, you belong here.

New to PeerLink and looking for 1-1 Youth Peer Support? Start with a referral. You can refer yourself, or someone else can refer you.

PeerLink may be available to Maine young people who:

  • Are ages 14–26
  • Have a serious mental health diagnosis or identify as experiencing significant mental health challenges
  • Do not have insurance, or do not have insurance that covers PeerLink services

These eligibility guidelines apply across PeerLink programs, including one-on-one support, drop-ins, workshops, and events.

Meet with a trained Peer Support Specialist close to your age, who has their own lived experience with mental health challenges, substance use, or other of life’s harder chapters.

This is a relationship built on mutuality, not a service done to you, but something we build together.

New to PeerLink and looking for 1-1 Youth Peer Support? Start here:

No refferal required! Weekly gatherings for peers ages 14 to 26, with separate spaces held for ages 14–18 and 18–26, so you’re in the room with people closer to your stage of life.

In-Person Drop-In — Weekly, across all three regions. Virtual Drop-In — Weekly, on Zoom. Sign up for weekly links →

These are spaces to receive support from trained Peer Support Staff, build skills, and meet others who may understand what you’re carrying, without having to explain it from scratch.

No refferal required! Learn something new, try something different, and connect with other peers. PeerLink offers virtual and in-person workshops and events throughout the year, including opportunities to build practical life skills, explore new ideas, and spend time in community.

Programming is shaped by what young people want to learn, try, and talk about.

A ten-member board that drives PeerLink’s programming statewide, with representation from every region.

The Youth Advisory Board helps identify community needs, shapes continuous improvement, and collaborates with PeerLink on advocacy projects and educational opportunities, because young people should help build the systems meant to support them.
